Bulky
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Three stars for the price and sound only. I try to always give products a fair chance when I am afforded the opportunity to test them out. I use the products and then give honest feedback. The headphones however have me conflicted. On one hand they meet several criteria for inner earbuds. They are well built and easy to manage. They have an excellent battery life with USB-C charging. They are a JVC product too and as such deliver wonderful sound. Then the craziest part is that they are only twenty-five dollars at the time of my review, with inflation though they will probably be eighty by the time this post. Now with all the good that these could have been, they missed one simple step... Make them in an earbud size that people can actually wear. I have larger ears as a forty two year old man who had tubes put in when I was child. I honestly do not know whether that is relevant or not but thought I would share. They do fit in my ear, but they are not discrete, and I am hyper aware that I am wearing them. I have other branded inexpensive earbuds that fit all the same grade metrics but actually fit in most ears. My wife and teenage children could not wear these. I would recommend these, but it must be for someone with larger ear canals. Again, these sound great, look cool, and feel like they are built to last.

Comfortable, good value for the money.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, these don't use rubber cups to squish themselves inside your ear canals. They sit comfortably just barely in the ear. While the sound is not quite as good as real in-ear units, the increase in comfort is well worth is. However, I did have one issue and one suggestion. The one issue that I had began when I received a call from my video doorbell. After hanging up, the sound was constantly dropping in and out, and there was noticeable echo (the audio was not synchronized between the two units). This was horrible and made the ear buds practically unusable. However, putting them both back in the charging case to reset them and taking them out fixed it, and they have worked reliably since. Seeing as how they don't actually sit in the ear canal, and they lack clips to hold them to the ears, some MIGHT find that they don't hold well during exercise. I took mine on a vigorous walk and had no issues at all. But everybody has different ears, a different fit, and a different definition of "excercise." But from my experience, they held in quite well. The only other "feature" that is lacking is that they don't beep when you tap on them to play or pause the music. You tap once and wait for something to happen, but it takes a while to know if you missed the tap area. Overall, the construction quality is quite nice for the price. The case does not look super tough, but should be quite fine for day to day usage. It is also a little larger than other popular units, but since it is a fraction of the price, this can be easily forgiven. So, my overall rating is that these are not perfect, but for the price, they pack a lot of punch. Recommended.

Quality sound, questionable fit
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The JVC - True Wireless Earbuds - Black offer quality sound and features for a price far below the big name competitors. With similar style and shape of the popular fruit brand, these earbuds bring the same high quality sound and design you have become accustom too. The overall performance was good. The charging case charges quickly and holds a few charges for the earbuds. The earbuds seemed to play for about 6-7 hours of continuous play - not bad for the price point! Comes with everything you need... 2 buds, 1 case, and a charging cable. I found the JVC - True Wireless Earbuds - Black to be excellent for everyday sound quality. Bright highs, thumping lows, and clear mid-range. The overall quality seems a bit too plastic-y to me however. The charging case is a bit hollow feeling making me concerned it could be cracked easily. There are not "tips" on these buds and the slick plastic become a concern as they fell out when tilting my head to the left or right and when the heavy winds were blowing. PROS - JVC brand and recognition - Quality sound - Competitive quality for the price - Interactive app helps your customize the buds to your preferences CONS - Very plastic - Slippery earbuds - A bit cheap feeling in the charger case

Finally an alternative to the rubber tipped pods
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are the perfect low budget earbuds if you want to avoid paying 5 times as much for a similar product from ‘you know who’. I have always loved the plastic earbud style versus the rubber tipped headphones. I usually buy generic brand knockoffs online, but it is about time a reputable company is producing earbuds like these. They are very comfortable and the sound is great. The battery lasted all day and the included case will also charge the buds. With specified taps on the earpiece, you can answer calls, pause music, turn up and down the volume, and all the usual features found on most headphones. I would like to point out that they are not noise cancelling. Depending on your personal preference, this could either be good or bad. Personally, I like to hear a bit of my surroundings at my workplace. A few other notes worth mentioning- they are IPX4 rated for proof against sweat/rain and can be used In a single ear if you wish. Overall, a great buy and finally a better alternative to the rubber tipped in-ear headphones.

Not quite as expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always like the brand. Bud is a bit big for my ears, falls when I talk or smile or move. Volume is great only on left bud. I tried to reset volume from my I-pad but same thing. Sound quality is good though and battery life. I’ll try other brand this time.

Good music sound quality, clumsy otherwise.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Music played on these buds sounds very good, outside of that, they are very clumsy to raise and lower volume, as well as make it perform any of it's other functions. You're supposed to tap your fingers certain ways (which you have to remember which ways) to control these. They often misread the taps and lower or raise the volume when you're trying to do the opposite. I've turned them off by accident a few times too. Also, just tried a call on them outdoors. It didn't go well. Slight wind made my voice unable to be heard by the person I was calling and their voice was also was very difficult for me to hear. Sounded rather garbled. Got to say I'm disappointed with these. On top of all of that, it was very difficult to get them to connect to my phone initially.

The best for less
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They sound fantastic and connect immediately never clip out by far the best for the money and better than most $100 earbuds I wish Kenwood/JVC would come out with an app so you can boost the volume a little only bcz I like it loud enough to make my ears bleed. Id bet if they raised their prices their sales would double if not more people pass over them bcz they think they're cheap but noway they're AWESOME!

Yes, A True Budget Set of Earbuds That Perform!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The JVC True Wireless Earbuds are one heck of a set of music listening bliss to my ears and my pocketbook. I have to say, for the retail price of the earbuds and the way they perform, you cannot get mad one bit at these. The fitment is great in my ears and my wife's, we were both very pleased in the way they feel while wearing the JVC True Wireless Earbuds. The sound is clear, loud, and not overly bass driven, perfect for all ears, young to old. The highs are not tinny at all, mid-range is clear and bass is clean but not overbearing to your ear drums. I tried all types of music and every genre I listened too, I started liking these earbuds more and more and I did not think it was possible to compete with my $300 earbuds but boy was I wrong. The touch controls work great, just a small learning curve to get the timing of the needed clicks down pat and after that, boom, you are set for hours of great use. Speaking of that, 3 8-hour shifts at work, not one time did I have the earbuds die. The charging case made it easy to throw them in my pocket and they were ready the next day. Charging time is decent from what I can tell but the time I charged it overnight, the next day my earbuds were still rocking at work. The only downside and it is expected at this price point is the BT range. I am not able to walk away from my area to get more materials as far as the more expensive set, seems to be about 10 ft and they would start cutting out. As long as you have the phone or tablet with you, they will never drop out, they work flawlessly then. I am super happy with the JVC True Wireless Earbuds, I plan to buy my 2 older kids a set as well instead of the cheapo ones at the budget store on every corner, at least these will work every time. Great Job JVC!

Amazing Value and Great Sounding Wireless Earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm really impressed with these earbuds, especially at their price point. The charging/holding case is very compact, it's USB Type C, the case is designed so you really can't put them in backwards. There are no adjustments for ear canal size, no removeable memory foam or rubber ear pieces, but the taper design happens to fit my ears pretty well. The fit is adjusted by rotating the earbud in your ear to change how the taper of the earbud is sitting in your ear canal. They are super easy to pair upon initial startup, The controls are simple, tap once on either earbud to play/pause, tap twice on left earbud for lower volume, tap 3x on left earbud for higher volume. Tap twice on right earbud to skip to next song, or tap 3x on right earbud to restart current song/go back to previous song. The volume can get pretty loud on them if you exceed the bluetooth volume warning on your phone. The sound quality is pretty good. Call answer/hangup is a simple tap of either earpiece. Reported sound quality for calls is normal from the other party. These things really deliver on their simplicity, value, and compactness. You should be able to get a lot of listening out of these in a day if you have time to recharge them in the case every so often. At this price, you definitely won't feel as put out if they stop charging so well after their first year.

Great Sound and Comfortable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, these are truly amazing ear buds. Setup couldn't be easier, just pair and wear :) As far as comfort goes, they fit my ears perfectly. The design is totally smooth which makes them comfortable right from the start. This does come with a price as they are not sound isolating what so ever. This means that unlike some others that either have active noise cancelation or some sort of soft "boot" to seal off the auditory canal, outside disturbances will interfere with the overall sound experience. This is not necessarily a bad thing but I don't think I will be wearing them while mowing the lawn or doing other noisy activities. Laying back in the hammock is more the style of these which suites me just fine. The charging case is a great feature as it provides protection and charging for hours and hours of listening pleasure. IPX4 rated it is safe to use these in the rain or on hot days when you might sweat. The most important thing, though, is sound. Quite frankly the sound profile is very nice. I would say that the response is balanced. That is the highs and lows are nicely matched for a very enjoyable experience. I really don't think that you can beat the quality for the price.

Price great for performance
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, these are really good. But here is what you will get with these. Sound is great, not super loud, but they are clear. They have no base, but for the price, i do not think base is going to be a huge concern. Pairing was flawless. charging case seems very sturdy and they fit well inside of it. I have bigger ears, and they fit nicely for a long period of time, and they do not feel like they are going to fall out. However if you have small ears, i could see a chance of discomfort. Battery life on the earbuds themselves is not great, but this goes back to the price. I feel like this is a outstanding buy for the price, and i am very happy to get them, i am sure i could get better but when you go to the store to get the "cheapest thing on the shelve, well you are getting the cheapest thing on the shelves, but i am still very happy with it, and as long as you realize that you are not buying 100 dollar ear buds, you will be very happy with them.
