Great sound, awkward fit…
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used my fair share of headphones over the last 10 years or so, from corded to bluetooth, earbuds to over the ear. I do primarily use a few bluetooth earbud headphones, and was hoping to have a wired set as backup if the battery happens to die. Unfortunately, the just won't work for me, at least how they were when they came out of the box. While they have a really good sound to them, the ear piece design have the tips just a little too long. They just poke into my ear canal rather uncomfortably. I might try trimming them back a bit to see if it helps. There is another set of ear pieces, but it basically is just a little wide tip (and just as uncomfortable to me). As far as the rest of the ear piece, they do seem like they fit snug enough to keep from falling out. It does have an inline mic with muiti-function button with music commands assigned to the number of clicks (1=play/pause, 2=skip to next track, 3=skip to previous track) or to answer/hang up a call with one click, but it almost has a cheap look/feel to it. These may work for some, but just not for me.

will positively surprise you
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am the happy owner of many headphones but with so many members in the family and several music devices, I am almost incorporating additional ones. Starting by saying that this pair of headphones positively surprised me. With a nice design and attractive colors, one you put in your ears you feel how light are they. This initial lack of weight doesn’t seem to impact the sound deliver through them. Let’s be clear, there is nothing here to have a 100% quality sound, capacity to change in the device the bass or the tone with other fancier and probably expensive equipment. This are simple wire headphones but something exercising you just want the music in your ears and avoid listening the other noisy gym users. I like how the ear tips (two sizes are in the box) fit in my hears. While are ok in the gym, I see however that are not 100% secured and they don’t stay when I’ve used for running. The headphones are equipped with a mic that clearly does the job for phone calls and my interlocutors didn’t notice that I was using it. One missing item that should consider to be added is the plastic clip to fix the wire to my shirt. Because is not there, wire keeps moving while exercising and I need to use a pin.

Not the best, not the worst
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my fair share of using headphones and earphones in my life. They are a MUST when working out, or going for a walk or listening to personal music. These JVC Sport Earphones look like to a degree. However I can't help but feel the quality in the way they are made has those "Just another headphone" feel to them. The audio quality is not bad but it's not good either. There is a competition brand that while they are not sport design earphones, they have more bass in them and have good quality. These ones.... Meh...At least they fit good though! No problems going for a walk and listening to music and no need to adjust them like other brands so that is a plus! Nonetheless though they do not sound distorted or anything else. So while these seem nice to an extent, I don't think they are worth the current price they are asking for. Maybe half the price and you should be sold on them.

Good Sport Headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These seem to grip in the ears really well and do a good job of blocking out background (outside) noise. The sound itself is pretty good, a full sound and loud and clear.

Not JVCs best work..
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I must say I was expecting more from these headphones. The one thing these headphones really have going for them is how comfortable they are and how well they stay in place. I have had other headphones in this shape and design from JVC before and when I saw they still use this design I was glad because I’ve used it for several years now and it is very comfortable. However, aside from comfort, these headphones are pretty lackluster. They undoubtedly sound awful, they sound very very muffled no matter what they are plugged into, no matter what music is playing, I tried several different situations to make sure I was not doing something wrong or was using a back aux port. Nope, no matter what, it was always muffled and terrible sounding. I honestly wonder if I got a defective pair or they just legitimately sound like this because I have a hard time believing JVC would have put this product out knowing it sounded like this. If this is really how the product is, there is still at least several situations these headphones would be good for. They would be good to have in your purse, gym bag, or car as an emergency backup pair. Or for younger kids who you know are going to roughhouse with their things and are bound to break their headphones eventually and will really not notice sound quality just yet. Overall, I would not recommend these headphones, not JVCs best work.

5 Stars for Value and Build Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Bose SoundSport earbuds were stolen and used a gift card in a Best Buy vending machine to have something on my flight. And I'm legit blown away at how good these are for the price and that they still work after 6 months (compared to the ~6 pairs of SkullCandy at similar price that self-destructed). They do not have the best sound quality for music (bass/low-end is lacking) but are surprisingly PERFECT for podcasts and phone calls surprisingly. According to others, they have better call quality (ambient noise reduction) than my $200 noise canceling. And these are ideal for the office if you're a in-one-ear guy like me. These aren't the best headphones out there (why are you looking at $20 ones then?) But they are the best value budget headphones I've ever used.

Good sound, not good fit
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In the era of wireless headset a good wired headset is hard to find. JVC has always had good wired headsets, but this one (HA-ENR15) has too many shortcomings. The only good thing I can say is that sound quality is excellent. On the other side, wires are easily tangled, the earbuds feel flimsy and do not fit well. They’re ok for the price.

Great sound, but not comfortable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The look and feel are good, the sound is great for an earbuds. However for me I did not find them comfortable, I could not keep them in while listening. Maybe my ears are small, but I have had no problems with other brands.

Good value
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The JVC HA ENR15 Gumy Sport headphones are a good set of headphones for the price. Sound quality is ok. Highs are crisp and voices are clear. They are a little light on bass, though. The earbuds feel sturdy and are listed as being "sweat-proof". They fit comfortably in my ears and felt very secure. The cord seems a little thin, though I've had no problems with it. The remote/microphone feels plasticy and seems situated a bit too high on the cord for my tastes. Included with the purchase is a larger set of earpieces and a set of instructions explaining the remote's functionality. All in all, these headphones are a perfectly serviceable set inexpensive sport headphones.
