A solid package with comfortable fit, solid build quality, and decent sound. Starting with charging, there is no Qi charging capability, so you need a mini-USB cable. This isn't a huge issue, but it is a bit inconvenient. Otherwise, simple enough with easy to read lights. Pairing is a snap. The JVCs understand when they're not connecting to anything and automatically go into pairing mode, making everything simple. Anyone should be able to find a fit, as the JVCs come with multiple foam and silicone ear tips. Look for the one with the snuggest fit in order to maximize the bass. The buds are lightweight and very comfortable. Battery life is solid, and as is standard for buds, the case carries extra charges. And now to the sound, the real reason you're looking at these. The sound is decent but not great. Stereo separation is excellent, but the tone is not quite right. Bass response is weak, and mid-ranges are a bit muddled. Overall, these are a good pair of buds for $50. The issue is that you can get a really solid pair of buds on sale for an extra $30 or so. If you're looking for buds, can't wait for a sale, and have a limit of $50, these are a solid choice. But if you can spend a bit more, then check out reviews for some units that list in the $100 range and wait for a sale. You'll be happier in the long run.
