Was a solid mount but the ball joint doesnt functional properly and thus doesnt allow you to angle the projector. Had to return this one :(

One more thing to note in case the tension adjustment was working properly. When setting up a projector it is crucial to find the projector's center of gravity otherwise the mount will not be able to hold the projector in position. We supply three different size arms so that you can place the ball joint directly over the center of gravity, once it is setup properly you should be able to make adjustments on-the-fly. I got the same projector and mount as him, the mount being this one. when I set it up, an annoying problem came to rise. the balljoint used to adjust the projector was terrible. I couldn't get this thing to face anything without it slowly correcting itself, or going super far in one direction. there is seriously nothing I could do to fix this, in the months that I have had it. I thought I got a bad one, but NO! my friend was having the same problem, he just took his off the ceiling. I will be going the same route, don't waste your money on this thing.

Spent hours and continued to have drift despite making all the adjustments. Ended up throwing it in the trash secondary to frustration. Bought the Epson universal mount, worked as advertised.
