I was a long-time user, and believer in, McAfee software, but after installing McAfee Total Protection 2012 experienced several problems. It's failure to detect a Redirect Virus, and a total lack of Customer Service to correct the problem led to my uninstalling the software. The GeekSquad Agent recommended the Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 as a far superior product, and coupled with Microsoft resident software, a much more budget friendly alternative. To date, the Kaspersky Anti-Virus appears to be extremely reliable, but has only been installed for less than a month -- so we'll see how it performs in the future. I did have one problem, but the Kaspersky Customer Service was very responsive and accurate in curing the problem.

Okay, here's the deal....I had Kaspersky. It's the best. Existing software on computer let me know it was running out, my 1 year subscription, but to renew existing one was $59.00...or more = no, thank you. I went to BestBuy and bought the new one for $39.00. You need to uninstall the earlier one to install the new one. Simply the best protection.

good product for the price. easy installation, meets my needs I wouldnt recommend to a friend because I dont have enough expertise to make a sound recommendation to anyone.

this is still the most reliable antivirus software ive used.the only downside is now I am limited to one pc with it, before I could use two

Great antivirus that updates often to maintain security. Downside is it likes to block out legitimate web pages and applications.

One of the best anti-viruses available in the market today. Quite easy to install and use. Could have added a few of the Internet Security features to it, but still no regrets. Good value for price (especially, when you compare it with other anti-viruses available in the market today). Easily 4 out of 5.

The install was effortless. The protection I have received over the years with Kaspersky is superior to others I have used. It will scan USB Flash Drives when the drive is inserted. This offers me even greater protection. It is a brand I have trusted for years.

This program is a good general protection for home computers. It's easy to install, then just let it do it's thing. There isn't a great need to fuss with settings or run tons of reports, but if there is a problem the scans are easy to start and understand. Once in a while you have to 'argue' with the program over things you want to download but in an anti-virus program I'd rather have over protective than not.

We have used this product in the past with great success. Do to price, performance, quality and ease of use; we are very satisfied with Kaspersky Anit-Virus Program.

Easy installation and regular updates makes for safe protection. Was recommended by local computer repair shop for laptop and have had no problems.

I've been a Kaspersky user for 4 years and needed to replace my most recent one year subscript. I had been advised from geek squad agent to not renew Kas Pure that I had been using as its firewall competed with my existing Windows firewall, resulting in greatly slowing down my computer. I went with basic Anti-Virus and had geek squad install ($30) worth it to me to avoid potential problems and support if they did occur. Unfortunately I did have a problem initially as my primary email provider (Earthlink) tranfers info to my email service I use (Windows mail) During install some settings got changed which I didn't realize so I wasn't able to use my Windows mail when I got it home. I first called Kas thinking it might be an operating issue and that's where my only complaint lies. It took 3 attempts to actually speak to a live person. Then they dismissed it as a an email provider problem. So I went back to geek squad and they couldn't determine what was wrong and also said to contact my email provider as they couldn't look into this due to security reasons. I finally contacted Earthlink and found out it was a settings issue that occured at install. The problem was easily fixed and everything has worked perfectly since. So, my 2 points are be prepared to get lously cust svc support from Kas. Pay the install price and have g squad install the software so hopefully if there are issues you can let them figure it out. And if you have an email set up like mine make sure you check settings after the install

I've tried a few anti viruses before, and this one is definitely the better one. It doesn't take up a lot of space like McAfee, yet its easy to use.

This works very well. Tends to be very thurough when scanning, updates frequently to keep track of the newest virus. Very user friendly

I have used this product for several years covering a desk top and a lap top. My computers have never been compromised. I often hear horror stories about other products. Kaspersky is the one I continue to choose.

A friend and a computer repair guy recommended this product so that's the way I went. The product has been good and easy to install.

It is easy to install, on screen indicator warns you of threats, and it notifies you when your membership is about to expire

It takes weeks for the actual subscription to update while continuing to give warnings that the subscription is about to expire. This has been the case the last two years. Unable to download update. I had to go to the store and purchase. I will probably change products next year unless I see that the problem has been fixed.

I've used this program as an antivirus for a year, and think it has great protection. Only thing, is I wish it was a bit cheaper to purchase for one computer, but regardless, good product, good price.
