Very good product. In depth covers all bases the product was easy to install.

When I purchased my laptop (HP - ENVY 15.6" Laptop - 6 GB Memory - 750 GB Hard Drive - Natural Silver), I was also offered the ability to get free security. I asked the salesman to recommend the best one out of the three I had available (I don't remember the other two, sorry). He recommended Kaspersky. I installed it as soon as I got home that night. Within 4 days, it told me it needed to update and when I attempted the install to update, it said the the files were corrupted. I was confused because I had not done anything to my laptop except take it out of the box, set it up with wi-fi and charge it. I uninstalled Kaspersky. Within an hour of me getting the message of corrupted files, my computer started shutting down randomly, other files were corrupted when I tried to update them, etc. I asked a friend that I know to come look at my system, since it was only 4/5 days old at this point and should not be giving me all these problems. He did and told me that Kaspersky was at fault and corrupted my system. REALLY? DON'T BUY.

This product is very unobtrusive and seems to do its job quickly and quietly.

Easy installation plus a very good selection of scan options. So far, virus free with a scan setting that gives relatively fast start up time.

I've been a Kaspersky user for several years now, and it's not just great at what it does, but it's so smooth and unobtrusive. The interface is upgraded every year, and the databases is the most comprehensive there is, with great explanations of exactly what it finds and why it's a threat. Use anything else at your peril, but having read this, you can no longer plead ignorance.

we have been buying Kaspersky security for 3 years now and have been pleased mostly, except this year...too many "outdated database" messages!

I can trust this program for my computer. Very functional and easy to use.

I'm sure the program works great in regards to its protection capabilities, but the one main problem I had with this was that it blocks the Mail app, Photo app, and Calendar app that is installed with Windows 8. It may say "Compatible with Windows 8" on the box, but it surely is not. You have to go into the software and specifically tell it not to block these apps. Somewhat of a simple fix, but you have to know what you're looking for first.
