Good Software to have just a long installation process

Won't continue with product. Will try other programs.

not that great compared to other Paid for software.

Nice interface, but lagging the computer sometimes

I have use in the past, but feel it is bit costly.

I am new to Kaspersky; so I can make no judgements.

I installed this in 2 computers, both HP models that I purchased from Best Buy. I installed the antivirus with some difficulty in both machines though after a little trial and error it seemed to engage properly. A day later, it was not working on one of the computers. I contacted tech support and re-installed it using different numbers than originally provided. The next day I installed it in the desktop HP. It seemed to be fine, scanning according to plan a couple of times. A day later, one stopped working saying that is was out of date. Two days later the second one did the same thing. I have no idea if these things work at all or just make me think they are for a day before the quit again.

I had to de-install it after I bought it with my new computer. The program slowed down everything I did, opening PDF files, surfing, typing passwords (this was the WORST problem, it FROZE the screen and internet explorer stopped working). Once I de-installed it and put in a competitors program instead, the PC is zipping along and there are no problems like that any longer. I am going to see if I can return it. Best Buy wants you to buy it because it's their product, don't listen to the sales people on this one. I have used the other security program for years on numerous PCs with not trouble, but Best Buy sales people told me it was a problem -- Kaspersky is the one with problems. Don't use it.

Unnecessary expense unless it comes free with a bundle that you really need. I returned the bundle and this package within 2 weeks unused. Free good alternatives exist, such as Avast. And it is on a CD, while the Ultrabook I bought has no CD drive.

Installed it and all it did was cause my mac to hang(never happened before) and once i uninstalled it everything back to normal, definitely would ask users on mountain lion to avoid like the plague

Ok, so its probably my fault. I bought my laptop, installed all my own software, loaded up 2000 images and made a good start. Then I decided to install Windows 8.1, which was fine, and seems much better. It was only then that I remembered that I hadn't installed Kaspersky. Total disaster, following the install the m/c died. I couldn't get it to boot. I hadn't even made a rescue disc. Luckily I finally got in in safe mode, managed to save my holiday pics, and then did the Lenovo one key restore. I then I had to reinstall everything that I had already done - except for Kaspersky. That went in the trash can.

I would not buy this product or use it even though it has a free trial. I have heard others complain about it also. It definitely gets a thumbs down from me.

I normally use Norton which my tech guys hate since its a memory hog. I am one that if something works I don't switch but I got Kaspersky when I got a new laptop. It is worthless. It never updates, so every day I get a warning message that "databases are out of date." It blocks perfectly safe websites so I sometimes have to just turn the darn thing off to go to some sites. Will be chalking it up to a lesson learned and will be going back to Norton. After reading other reviewers comments it sounds like it doesn't work well with 8, they should of dealt with that long before now.

Do not buy or use. This product treated Spybot and AVG Free as dangerous programs. Did not interface well with Firefox, and after an update cause many websites to not render properly since they did not have proper "certificates". Upon removal of Kaspersky those sites rendered as expected and not skewed as they did with Kaspersky running. In my opinion it is as bad as McAfee and Norton. The only good thing about it was when removing it actually removed the first time with zero complications. Since then, I'm back on AVG and Spybot and not having any problems.

Did not run well with my new laptop. It was blocking network access, changed all the settings, would work once then not. Finally uninstalled it and set up Windows Defender. Free for a reason

I keep getting garbage the program should stop. I hate how poorly it works. Why it is so popular, I do not know. I will never get it again.

I never had a problem with Kaspersky until KIS 2013. When installing I got to the point of 'Do you want to restart your computer now' or some such. I clicked on it and my computer would not reboot. Apparently something (the BIOS?) was changed, and my computer tried to boot from the CD-ROM. That seems to be what happened. I'm not positive what I did to fix it so I don't want to say what I thought I did or didn't do. I did get my computer to boot from drive C eventually. Everything seems ok now. Since it failed install badly, it's getting one star.

I am not that satisfied as it takes too much resources but I am not getting the performance. As I compare it with my existing free Avira version and find it is not that satisfactory.

As soon as I installed it into my new Macbook pro (I got this with purchase) it immediately slowed my computer down and did not let me access certain website. I had to take it off.

Thought I had installed it and it was working. Of coarse there is no way to know for sure. Then I received an e-mail telling me to go ahead and install it. I mailed back that I thought that I had but I have gotten no response except another mail saying that I should install it. So I can't say if it is a good product or not but I can say that your correspondence is very confusing and that no response is very rude.
