I work as an IT professional and there are only three decent AV solutions on the market as a consumer. Kaspersky, Vipre, and Windows built in. Everything else is a waste of money. You can go and search for how they obtain their virus definitions and how they all share the data found and build engines based on that data all day but most of the time any AV solution is going to be behind. AV is a cat and mouse games but these three are typically what a company would use for their solutions except Trend Micro would be the solution over Windows AV in a corporate environment.

I have used Norton, McAfee, and other internet security software. According to my experience, I have not had a critical virus that could not be caught or wiped out by Kaspersky before it wiped out my files / hard-drive. I started using Kaspersky in 2008 and still use it today. It is still as user friendly (from installation to using the scan tools) once installed as it was years ago. I am surprised how seamlessly Kaspersky is working on my Android phone and my MacBook. I believe that Kaspersky is a great buy for a reasonable price for the student, teacher, and on the professional.

Reasonable price. Its need for anything any device and it seems to be working.

We use this on a daily basis to monitor our business. This program works very user friendly . We need security with so many people working and a lot of supplies going in and out for the job. Also just knowing when you take a vacation your place is secured.

Typical security software. Didn't really need it but safe to have just incase.

After years of getting double billed and charged for computers not in use, by McAffee, it's a great feeling to switch to Kaspersky. In the short time, I like the way it operates and provides messages of interest and options. Through the Geek Squad, we now have it on three computers and very happy to kiss McAffee good-bye.

This worked great for prior versions but lags in latest updates.

Got it free with the chrome book but can't use it maybe he gave me wrong one

Had one incident that was not protected by this product in weeks of installing.

Have not had it long enough to tell well it works but so far looks pretty safe.

Not sure I would renew the subscription. This was a free one with the laptop.

I installed the program on my new laptop, and some of the features do not work.

It does protect the internet and helps but not really as good as expected.

Do not like to have to run in one certain browser. Don't know if it's working.

We haven't used this item since we have access to government virus control

Decent, installed it in a Windows laptop. Don't really need it for my MAC.

I had stopped using Kaspersky internet Security software a few years ago, as I felt it had become chock-full of bloatware that ended up causing my computers to slow down. That just seeing to be the case for the newest version, & I decided to try it again and so far have been please with the results.
