I do feel much more secure using my laptops, but the speed of everything has significantly slowed down ever since I installed Kaspersky.

Unfortunately, the Kaspersky security comes with the ASUS laptop and one may be tempted to actually download and use it. Don't !!! Kaspersky is NOT user friendly, has terrible support, doesn't do well with their malware definition updates. Allowed some malware to ruin the hard drive on my previous ASUS. Too bad that Best Buy pairs them together. Get something that will actually protect your machine, like Iolo.

We got this because when we bought the laptop they recommend it, I guess its working haven't got a virus so far.

they never told me if I need to run once in a while or not. so not really sure if its working on its own.
