Do not get Kapersky if you want a good internet security program. This program can actually help hackers get your information, according to an article in Forbes. I removed it from my new computer.

I had Kaspersky on a previous computer. worked ok, but wary of Russian influence? as far as I can tell it worked ok--but I don't know what may have happened that I simply could not/did not know about.

I just purchased a new laptop and desktop and Kaspersky came with a 6 month free trial. I'm not sure whether I will purchase it when the trial is up. I do not like the machinations I have to go through when logging into my bank to do online banking, as well as some of my credit card accounts. It does not seem all that compatible with some of the banking platforms and it gets hung up and I have to try to login in multiple times. I have been using Malwarebytes for the last 4 years and that security platform was more in the background and did not interfere as Kaspersky does.
