After installing Pure I downloaded Google Chrome and picked up a Trojan and other Malware from the download. My new laptop is now useless, unless I spend a great deal of money to have IT fix it . I can not even use the restore feature.

Attempting to install the program identified a non-existent virus that prevented installation. GEEK Squad had previously removed a number of alleged viruses. I could not uninstall the previous version nor install the new version.

Once Kaspersky gets the problems solved with Windows 8.1, I'm sure I will be happy with Pure 3.0. Glad they offer trial protection in the interim.

When Norton had to be uninstalled before installing Kaspersky, a survey asked why the switch to another anti-virus product. There was no good reason other than the latter was rated higher on some PC sites, so I skipped the question. Kaspersky has been nothing but problems since installing on the 2nd PC when the Rescue Disk set off for no reason. The 1st PC continues to give important messages that computer is at risk even after contacting technical support and following instructions. It is frustrating to buy a current product with outdated information.

Price was ok. Disappointed it did not catch a virus that causes computer to crash!

I was able to install the program on my desktop but I am having many problems with my laptop. Once installed, I can't access Windows Explorer to surf the web. I called the number for online support, they sent me an email with directions, which did not correct the problem. Not being too savy with software issues so I had to call in a Computer Doctor which will cost me more money to have it fixed. Not certain I would return to this product again.

not compatible with windows 10 and created many issues

In the end customer service helped correct problem but had to download from website with code number. Product I bought in store was defective. Not sure what damage it caused my computer if any.

Contacted company and they said to wait for patches. Meanwhile I paid for a product with an expression date that won't work correctly. An expensive little adventure.

After buying it at best buy for $85 I found it at office depot for $25. I was frustrated at this but what was more the problem is that my computer/internet wouldn't allow me to get onto my computer with this loaded on. It deemed the entire internet a threat. I went in and trouble shoot the issue on my wife's computer only for it to tell me to uninstall it and then to tell the computer that that my internet connection was safe/secure. Needless to say I haven't seen what this does as I still am getting malware and pop ups. I went in and fiddled around with a few setting but I really hoped for something a bit more plug and play. I really wish I had just been able to return it.
