So I didn't get a chance to use it. Although I am hoping that when I finally receive my phone this case will be available for the 7 plus so I can purchase it again.

This is good for protecting from minimal shock damage from a drop, but will not protect from major shocks. If you want to buy this case, you probably aren't looking for super protection anyway.
