The rhinestones won't come off so you don't need to worry about them getting torn off. I dropped my phone on concrete soon after getting this case and my phone was perfectly fine.

Instead, it's a hard cover that really protects your phone, if it falls. You get protection and you get a cute cover, unlike those huge ones. Also, I recommend to add a glass screen protector to protect your screen from cracking.
