I got lucky, my husband's phone is taking up to 30 days to get verified so that he can use it. the apple verification was wonky after he used it for a couple of hours and we spent over 3 hours at Best Buy trying to get it straightened out but now have to wait for Aple to verify that I am the owner of that phone, even though we provided proof of purchase and had the person who sold us the phones right there with us as we were talking to Apple support
