There is fabric on the sides frayed as well...looks like I have been using the case for YEARS instead of just a few weeks..

However, very easily bendable, like the casing on a tea light candle. Dropped my phone once and it was over. Had to replace phone. No protection.

My iPhone safety cover broke

I will eventually go back to using an Otter - which is a better product.

Pretty but not a good case

It was also really expensive.
