PERFECT upgrade for side speakers for surround sound system. Went with Kef Q350s from BBuy to upgrade a home theater in a box (Denon). Front left and right channels typically have more bass frequency. They were so awesome they stuck out and i felt the side channel needed a boost in audio resolution and crispness. The Q150s were perfect. I am considering getting two more for the rear channels in my 7.1 setup. I have the Q250 center!!! THESE SPEAKERS ARE NOT DESCRIBABLE. YOU HAVE TO TRY THEM OUT FOR YOURSELF! Its almost like going from standard definition TV to 4k but for audio. They add a dimension of realness that defys imagination. The stereo imaging with new setup is the best ive ever had. Audiophile entry level perfection. A Very honest sounding speaker. The Q150s are also not overly large so they really make perfect sense for side and surround speakers. Great high-frequencies - slightly airy and transparent not harsh or fatiguing! Solid accurate bass you can eat.

Gave my comparison review in q350 page. I loved q350 more so I kept 350 and returned the 150. 150 are compact but I feel q350s are worth the upgrade.

They lack of base by themselves, otherwise a good speaker if you can pair them with a sub or another speaker of better quality

I liked it very much for its performance. I am using this as my backside speaker with my 9.0.4 system.

I went in set on a comparable Klipsch pair of speakers and ended up with these. the Best Buy sales associate who helped me really went out of his way to provide some perspective and nudged me toward the KEFs and I couldn't be more pleased. these things are exactly what I need in my space. super clear high vocals, definition in the mids, and inky low notes. I want to go quadrophonic just to get another pair. exceptional sound for the $$

Awesome ! I should hace bought these speakers along time ago.

I use these for my rear surround speakers in a Atmos environment. They sure add a lot of sound depth. A much better choice then using other small/micro rear suround speakers.

Initial review is that the speakers work well. Seem a little light on the highs, but could be the amp I'm using to drive them. Would definitely buy again

I have the larger version of these speakers as well as a center channel in the front of my bedroom. I wanted to stick with the same brand, KEF, so these were a perfect match. They compliment the front speakers and center channel perfectly. I have yet to test these speakers other than playing music but I’m sure they’ll add to any cinematics flawlessly.

Not bad sound for a not bad price. Kef speakers must not be as good as they once were.

Okay use for tv stereo gives great sound for tv and stereo

Bought Q150 when it was on sale and pleased with the performance.

These speakers were perfect for my room. So glad I bought them and had Best Buy set them up that I bought Best Buy stock!!!!

Look nice havent tried em out yet. Got the brown ones and they were safely packaged which id always good

KEF - Q Series 5.25" 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers is a good choice for my Audio-Video system. KEF is the BEST!

Excellent speakers great sale price, I’ve been looking for a set of speakers that way give an excellent sound stage. These speakers fit the bill about the Q3 50s as well as the Q1 50s and the center 650 highly recommend.
