Grips vents good, holds your phone well with rubbery grips but if your vents are flat your phone will end up tilting forward messing up viewing angle. Works better in wife's accord where the air vests are sloped towards passengers.

Bought this for a new iPhone 7. The price seemed high for what you get. After a few weeks it rotates way too freely. it wobbles around in the holder now. Otherwise it holds the phone just fine. I would not buy another.

I was able to do price matching with Amazon and that is the only reason why I consider purchasing this phone holder. Pros: Small and easy to hide and it does posses a good grip on my phone and well built. Cons: Price, Also doesn't seen to work with all ac vents properly. Too many bumpy roads like Miami will sure to get that shifted to the side or to even fall. Claws that attached to the AC vents could grip a bit better. It did not fall out of my vent yet but it does shift if you go through lots of bumpy road. Aside from that it does stay in place under normal conditions and as long you don't do much interaction. For the record I do have a Cadillac CTS 2012, maybe in a different brands of vehicles or different shapes of vents might work better.
