His old one was too high for the Keurig machine so he had to make the coffee in another cup and then dump it in the thermal cup. This one is made to fit the Keurig so it is more convenient.

Fits under the Keurig or Mr. Coffee k-cup machines, and also in car cupholders. Only reason why it doesn't get 5 stars is because my other stainless mugs keep coffee warmer for a lot longer.
