Energy concerns aside, it makes a nice cup of coffee. My only issue is that it does not make the correct measurement in ounces when making a cup. Making an 8 ounce cup looks more like 4 ounces. The 10 ounce setting looks like 6 ounces. Most of the time I have to run it again just to get a full cup. Overall its good. Serious coffee drinkers may want to upgrade to one with a bigger reservoir. You will refill this one often if your a frequent drinker. This is, however, a good investment for an entry level buyer.
