I don't know why as all the messages are normal. After I make a cup, the lid message will tell me to keep the lid down and it will say "heating". Very odd. I wish I had gotten the more expensive model.

Was able to unplug and reset till about the 3 month mark. Now it’s jusy a blank white screen. Makes a good easy cup of warm drink. Was happy with the final product when it would work. Taking back today and hopefully This is just a fluke? Will re-review
