I have had one of these before and the lid would be hard to clean, especially since I use cream in my coffee. This one has a new design and I am able to clean deep inside and have no build up. Coffee stays hot for 3 hours and drinkable for 6.

It holds a fair amount of fluid making it possible to have more with you without having a big container and easy to hold.
