Looked Nice and I had high hopes - Mistake!

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My previous coffee pot died suddenly and it had the ability to use the Kcups and brew a full pot so I was looking for something upgraded that would do the same and last longer with a nicer water reservoir - easier to clean etc. This one had all of those things but the carafe design is awful and it spills everytime you pour no matter what I do. I should have returned it instantly when the burner seemed to melt a little and left a white ring on the burner which to this day seems to stick to the bottom of the pot when removing to pour. we had a lot of family issues going on with travel for work and didn't realize how much time had passed and now I can't return it - it may be relegated back to the box for an emergency back up coffee pot. I would never suggest this to anyone even if I didn't like them. Just couldn't do it.

Leaking Carafe - Known Issue

Looked online and this is a known issue which still hasnt been addressed by Keurig. Just google “Keurig Duo leaking carafe” and you’ll see. Now arguing with them to give a refund since Im past the Best Buy return timeframe. This is a great coffeemaker but completely useless if the carafe leaks.

Terrible

And if I select to make 8 cups, it keeps adding water well after 8 cups and I have to manually turn off the machine. I wish I would have returned it.

Kurig coffe maker

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hi i was very exited about this Coffee maker the way it looks and they way it makes coffee after too weeks of use it started over flowing my coffee mug i selected the same setting as i did for two weeks come back from the bathroom and my whole counter top was covered with coffe ao that i made a mistake i did it again standing eight next to the coffe maker and it did it again i am very disappointed about it i will be taking it back to best buy and never buy a kurig again they cost so much but poorly made

Keurig k-cup duo

Keurig not so much. At first it was great. After a month of using the pot started leaking. The lid gets hot, and warps. So it’s no longer spill proof. Make sure your over the sink pouring. Then the basket started overflowing coffee grains into the pot, and machine. If I could return and get a different coffee machine I absolutely would.

Brewing was inconsistent with both pod and carafe.

Call to Help Ctr to verify I was correctly following directions determined sensor was defective. Replaced this with new coffee maker and new machine would not consistently brew. Had to reset almost every time I wanted to brew coffee. Returned this second product. Have had Keurig for many years but presently very disappointed with them. Did reach out to corporate to relate problems.

Fancy bland

I bought this in May and it didn't even last the whole year. We descaled it 2 or 3 times since we bought it and now it is giving us a 1r error message and wont do anything. I'll call tech support today, but the coffee maker this replaced still works after 3.5 years. But how was the coffee when it did work? Kinda bland actually. I was able to do a direct comparison since it broke and I dusted off our old Hamilton Beach Flex brew. The Flex Brew make a much for flavorful coffee and I was using k-cups from the same box. This machine is also ridiculously complex to use. Just making a regular pot requires too many button presses. When my parents came over they couldn't figure it out at all. I'd recommend the Flex Brew over this any day. Better coffee, easier to use, and last more that SIX MONTHS!!!

3 machines failed to work in less than 6 months

I made the mistake of not keeping the receipt on the first one, and not getting the "extended warranty" on the second one. I bought this one on 5/4/2021, and on 6/23/2021, the strong button failed to work. I reviewed the geek squad protection plan, and it said the manufacturer's warranty was still in place. I contacted the manufacturer, and they said they would replace it for free, but that it would be 3-7 days before it would arrive (unless I wanted to PAY for expedited or express - no thank you). I don't know why these machines don't last longer. I would think that when paying $175 for a stupid coffee pot it would work more than 2 months! Unless you like being incredibly inconvenienced, don't waste your money on any version of Keurig Duo coffee pots. I won't ever again.
