Coffee brews quickly and as far as taste and so on is the same as before. The model itself though has an attached plate where your coffee cup is placed for brewing. The older unit did not. My older model sat on top of a Keurig coffee pod holder. By sliding the coffee maker to the edge I was able to easily brew a 20oz thermos cup of coffee without having to brew multiple cups of coffee that I now have to pour into the thermos cup with the new model.

I thought it was time to replace it with a newer model and I chose K-Elite and I'm so glad I did it is awesome. BestBuy has the best price out there. Makes great tasting coffee. I would recommend.

Easier, more logical controls. Really good in every way. My only complaint is that the lid on the water reservoir does not attach nor have a hinged lid. It is a minor, albeit constant, source of frustration. Otherwise...very happy with it.
