    Beautiful but downgraded model

    Purchased this to replace my old Kerig 2.0. First the positives: it looks sleek & modern, slightly smaller footprint & the brushed silver looks exactly like stainless steel! It heats the water faster, you can adjust water temp. & coffee tastes great! The negatives: the lid for the water reservoir isn’t hinged so it doesn’t flip up you must remove completely each time you add water (so annoying), it’s a bit louder, buttons instead of LCD screen(why?) harder to clean and the buttons always crack over time. Also, though the reservoir is large it requires you to add more water even when it’s almost half full unlike my older model. I love the look of this model & the fact that you can adjust the temperature but everything else feels like a downgrade from the previous model. Please bring back the hinged reservoir lid!!!!

    Had this for 3 months and it stopped working. It will act like it's brewing but nothing comes out. Super glad I got insurance since this costs way too much for it to break after 3 months.

    It runs very slow, has to “warm up”. And to be a new machine it’s very loud.

    Cheaply made, overpriced, makes horrible coffee

    Used an older model keurig machine for years that worked fine. It was built well, and made coffee that tasted fine. I have recently tried and returned both this model (k-elite) and the k-compact. Both are cheaply made, and cannot brew a coffee that doesn't taste awful. I tried 6-8 different types of k-cups from 6 different brands in both machines - the same k-cups that consistently tasted fine in the older model. The new models seem to burn the coffees, and add an awful taste that is not present in the older model I have used. It is not due to old or otherwise bad coffee (even though k-cups are sub-par overpriced garbage coffee to begin with), but due to bad machines. Based on these experiences, I'd assume all new model keurig machines are even more of a ripoff than the old ones. These things are made for morons who don't actually like coffee but drink their brown burnt water to keep up their appearance in the office. 0/10

    The GOAT Keurig

    The best Keurig. I like it so much I've owned it twice. I got rid of it awhile back because I was suckered in by the K Supreme Plus Smart, which broke within 2 years and honestly didn't do much more to impress me. This machine is simpler and does it's job better for about half the price of the Supreme Plus. I regretted getting rid of my original Elite and I'm so glad to have one again.

    Missing many of the features of our former Keurig machine. Former model flashed a message that "Your brew is ready. Enjoy". Water reservoir is smaller than before. Coffee does not taste as good. New model has programming options which are not useful but raise the price of the product.

    Going to try and return. Doesn't work right. May be just this one machine but this one stinks. Hoping I can return this. Never had an issue before. This particular machine doesn't work right. Looking to purchase another and return this.
