    Broke in just over ONE WEEK!

    I purchased this item, and it arrived on March 21. Today is March 29 and I had to return it as something was wrong with the pump. Poor quality control from Keurig. I purchased the Geek Squad replacement warranty and had to get a refund as Best Buy WOULD NOT honor the price I paid on a different color ($60 more) as the brushed gold is now unavailable. I used to work for Best Buy and the USED TO honor price changes within 30 days of purchase. Now I know TWO places I will NEVER shop at again...

    I’m on my second unit and about to return this one too. The unit is great when it works properly. The first unit one day started pouring out water when it turned on. Bad thing was I had it set to auto turn on before I woke up. So the whole tank emptied all over Returned the first one and now about 4 months later the second one did the same thing today. Thankfully I don’t use auto start after the first incident. I unplugged it and replugged it back in and now it’s working again. But this one is going back too. Going back to the cheaper model I had before for years.

    LCD issues on the pot not remedied by Keurig

    I bought a different model Keurig several years ago expecting it to last as long as a traditional coffee pot. Unfortunately, even though it did cost alot more, it proved to be undurable. My LCD screen gave trouble starting after about 1 year of ownership and eventually stopped working. I contacted customer support several times and the most customer support would help is 50% off another Keurig. I believe the LCD screen failure on my Keuring is a known design flaw due to moisture intrusion due to the screens positing directly over an area that releases steam during brewing. The issue can easily be found with an internet search including a youtube video of someone fixing it themselves (on a 100$ + coffepot???). I won't be giving Keurig any more of my $ and I would not recommend them. The product is too expensive for the company to not stand behind their products 100%.

    Bad news

    Terrible unit went thru 5 different ones and finally got one to work by using natural spring water bought at store. Worked for a few months and now it has stopped working completely. Nice features when it works, but for me a real headache. Purchase at your own risk.

    made of light cheap plastic, falls apart when picking it up to transfer it to another surface. Forget it. Return again!

    Turns off during the brew process

    I bought this to replace my old Keurig, That machine went over 4 years without any issues. I have had this one about a month and a half and I would like to throw it out. It keeps turning off during the brew process. So I waste a K Cup and this morning 3 of them the 4th finally made a cup of coffee. It completely powers off I have to push the power button to turn it back on. Not impressed with this one, and it was expensive.

    Coffee tastes like water

    I have tried this type of coffee at many car dealers and for free coffee it wasn't bad. Recently my wife and I went on a trip and in the apartment there was a Keurig which seem to make very good coffee. My wife convinced me to buy the elite and giving up our drip Cuisinart for it. I have tried using regular K-Cups, the my k-cup with my own coffee, with varying amounts of coffee and quote-unquote larger servings. I have also tried the strong button but, I haven't had a good cup of coffee since using it. My wife loves the convenience of it but I will give up drinking coffee if I continue to keep this machine. It's a great idea and makes terrible coffee.

    I am on my second unit and just like the first unit the second unit started leaking badly. I don’t know if it’s a valve but when you turn it on as it heats up the water pressure makes the water start pouring out. I’m done with this unit sending it back thank God for the warranty

    Has gone downhill

    Thought it was a 5 at first but it has gone downhill. It is slow and drips for about 10 12 seconds when almost done. Also splashes the coffee from the cup then. As it finishes ther is a pronounced low tone ring like it is hollow. Nat as good as my previous ones.
