Even though the K-Elite does not seem as good as my original, it seems better built than the others on the market. I originally bought the Select from Walmart, but then took it back bought the Elite because it was on sale (still more than the Select). The Select and other newer models feel cheap. The K-Elite feels better built. I miss the light up water tank, which I can get used to. What I do miss is the flip open lid on the water reservoir. This model and all newer models have a flat solid lid. This is aggravating for me because of my cabinets that are above the Keurig. I either have to pour the water from my pitcher into a cup and then pour it in the Keurig or I have to completely take off the water reservoir to pour in water from my pitcher.

I love the convenience of the iced coffee! My son uses that every morning before heading off to school. The large water container is also a plus. This is a fantastic machine.
