Will not work in all households

It uses the ground plug in its electrical circuit. I checked it out at my house that has the modern three wire plugs and it will work OK. The only hint in the products literature is that it tells you to plug the unit into a grounded plug, but does not tell you why. I believe there nothing to indicate this on the product package on the outside.

Lasted a little less than two weeks, using it once or twice a day. Returned to Best Buy and they exchanged for a new one. We'll see. My Keurig before this one lasted about a year. Nice machines, but a lot of reviews complain about their short lifespans.

Every time I used it, it felt like something was going to break. And it did after two weeks. It just simply wouldn’t power on so I upgraded to the K50. Much sturdier machine!
