Had to put a lot of bottled water in the big machine, & that had to be dumped & the reservoir cleaned periodically. With this one I just put as much as I need now & the water isn't sitting & getting old. When it's time to clean I'm not wasting water dumping it out. Lot's less to clean, & easier to do it more often to avoid buildup over time.
