Does it affect anything? Absolutely not if you were looking for something to use K cups and don't want to take a lot of counter space this is a terrific machine. It takes about two minutes if that to heat up the water, and I think less than a minute to make a coffee. You have different cup sizes and also a strong brew which I really like. I'm completely happy with it and would recommend it to anybody.

It is easy to use with a 52 ounce removable water reservoir. I like the convenience of selecting from 4 brew sizes with a single button. I did notice that the coffee was not as strong as the older model using the standard brew setting but there is a strong button to boost the flavor if needed. Good value.

Only annoyance that I didn’t consider is how much the coffee splatters show on the light colored coffeemaker. This isn’t an issue w/ the black units.

Replaced it with a smaller, different brand. That one quit working after 6 months. Best Buy had this Keurig on sale (under $80) just in time to replace that one. Works great and an up dates version of our original Keurig. Should have stayed with Keurig to start.

However, the water reservoir doesn't hold as much water as we would like. Otherwise all works well.

If u see it on sale go for it ….

New to Keurig

It does hold a couple of drops after fill but easily enough tipped into the cup.
