I find the new model to be a cheaper grade of plastic and lacking in quality. I was going to take it back, but had company coming in for the weekend and ended up using it. Its not Vintage Red, its maroon.

It was shipped fast and has met all my expectations. Handle’s multiple size coffee mugs and replaced a similar unit that lasted 5 years.
