After the machine is off all night the first cup is much cooler than the next one I make about 15 minutes later

Automatically heats at the beginning of each brew so you don't have to hear, and then come back to start to brew. Also has a setting for chilled coffee, but we haven't tried that one yet. Definitely worth the little extra cost!!!!
