I bought this due to having a larger water tank size. I also like the fact that it is incredibly light. Haven't used the cold coffee function, but I've been lead to believe that it is very good at it. Biggest complaint is that you have to remove the small bottom collection tray to put in most larger cups, and even then they fit very snuggly and can be hard to remove.

Having been a user for years I hated the old water storage on my previous unit. It was awkward shaped and I dropped it several times because you couldn't grip it very well. This new one with a handle is great. This one also seems to instantly make hot water. I don't know if it stores water inside or not but it is definitely faster than my old one making coffee.
