Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the K425 Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker's coffee quality, ease of use, and the ability to customize brew strength and size. Many also appreciate its attractive design and convenient touch screen. While some found the machine a bit noisy, the positive feedback on its functionality and features outweighs this minor drawback. The large water reservoir is another frequently praised aspect.

Absolute must have for any coffee drinker. Picked up this item or a rest deal for a gift and now I might have to get one for myself

This was a replacement, I have had a Cuisinart for over 10 years. It died on me and my sister gave this to me as a gift. I love it. It does not take long to get a hot cup of coffee.

We love the Keurig, my only complaint is the needle clogs quite often. We use a lot of hot chocolate and such so not sure of that is why but still happy with the purchase!

I have had multiple Keurigs (and the Cuisinart) that have been great. I bought this brewer for my office. However, it does not work. It brews one cup and stops in the middle of the second. I have done all the steps to fix but unfortunately being returned today.

Summary, expensive weak coffee that requires extreme levels of cleaning and still gets mold you cannot remove. I purchased my wife a Keurig K425 from BestBuy for Christmas 2016. She is a morning coffee drinker and I wanted to get her “the best”. She was very excited to get the big name brand coffee maker. Unfortunately, the first coffee experience was not what we had hoped for. The coffee was weak. She does not drink it very bold, but doesn’t like it being “watery”. I proceeded to google and try every possible way to get the coffee stronger. We got various reusable pods, even the spring loaded carafe types that claim to “compress the grounds to get it stronger”. We tried doing multiple small brews to give the grounds time to extract the boldness. Nothing. I compared the amount of coffee grounds used per ounce of water to her old off-brand maker. The Keurig is using more coffee grounds per ounce but is just weak! The water is very hot. In the end I think it’s the design. You simply cannot get a strong brew quickly. In the end she decided she could live with the coffee part since she did like the hot water for tea. Now comes the concerning part. After owning it for a year we’re seeing little black specs in the water. We’ve only ever used filtered water. I’ve deep cleaned it best I can, buying the $12 descaling liquid, letting it soak inside and flushing it 12+ times. It came out clean, but a few days later the specs were back. I used vinegar this time, soaking it inside overnight. Came out clean after flushing it, but again the specs are back. Based on the way they roll like putty between my fingers it has to be mold inside (it’s not hard like a mineral buildup). I’ve again done some googling and have found many articles on mold inside these sort of interior tank hot water machines.

    Stopped working after 1 year

The product seemed pretty cheap at first. The water storage container lid would not fit right, the bottom cup tray didn't' snap in, and it takes a long time to preheat, but it did the job for a year. Recently it wont brew a full cup. It stops brewing and read low water pressure. Seems like a major defect. For $140 I want a coffee pot or brewer to be able to last. This didn't, don't buy this model. If anybody from Keurig reads this, please send me a credit, I will gladly send the back to you for review. Best Buy.....please offer a credit if Keurig doesn't. Thank You

You can only use Keurig Brand Cups

I would not purchase this item. If you buy any Cups that are not Keurig branded they will not work in this machine. There are ways to get around this but for what this unit costs i should not have to hack or mod my coffee maker to us it. I will be returing this unit and purchasing one non Keurig brand maker that uses the Cups.
