That is the only good reason you might want to buy the 2.0. Otherwise I am happy with this one, I love I can use ground coffee from time to time in the third party plastic cup and enjoy brands that are not available in k-cup presentation yet.

Great way to heat tea water

Only tried several of the sample coffees supplied and found them to be stronger than I prefer. Will continue to try them all. There was one tea sample included and this I found to be acceptable and will probably buy a box or so of these. Also purchased the reusable filter which I haven't tried as yet. Maybe this will get me to drinking more coffee and drinking less tea. Time will tell.

Great for one cup of a hot beverage

This model lets me select 3 levels of water (which I always select the highest level) and it has a reservoir for the water, so I don't have to refill it for each cup.

fresh brewed coffee in seconds

She has one, and has a refillable k cup..it made so much sense. Brew a fresh cup whenever I wanted one, none to pour out. None to taste old or burnt. It makes sense to buy it as it will pay for itself in no time. No filters to use or run out of. THe water heats up in seconds.
