    The Worst of Both Worlds

Not sure what problem this product addresses. I had been considering this item for a while and picked it up on a whim, then after a single use realized it doesn't make much sense. I wanted the ease of Keurig, without the mess of cleaning up afterwards. I wanted the stronger taste of premium coffee. What I got was a mess, because you need to manually clean the pod after use, and weak coffee because the water shoots through. I'll stick to using KPods when I'm in a rush and stick to pour overs when I want the good stuff. There's a time and place for both of these individually; no reason to jam the functionality into a single product.

    Best reusable pod out there.

This is the single best reusable pod out there (and I've used about a dozen different designs). It's the only reusable pod I've found that makes a strong cup of coffee. The only two knocks against it: 1. Durability of the lid locking mechanism could be better. 2. The filter surface area on the sides could be reduced, providing lower water flow and making an even stronger cup of coffee. If you want a good cup from this pod, grind use a coarse grind. The filter medium is rather large and allows a decent amount of fine particulate through.

    Alternative to your coffee pods

It's nice to be able to make some different coffee from the pods on hand once in a while. This reusable filter works great and fits right into our Keurig brewer.

    An unecessary learning curve.

Too many parts that need to be lined up just right. Someone over-thunk this one. Don't understand why it can't be like the single stream ones, but with extra holes. Not that convenient to use. However, after a slight learning curve it works and makes much superior and stronger coffee. Especially if the beans or grind is fresh. Adding a few extra line up points would help a lot. I see no reason to buy this one if you have older, single stream coffee makers. If you have the newer multi stream brewers, at the time this is posted, this is your only choice I'm aware of.

Not my first choice in reusable filter for K-Mini

Recently purchased this filter to try with K-Mini Plus. The brewed coffee had sediment and oil. It is very complicated to use and clean. I have used K-Mini Plus for several years with an after market reusable filter with paper filter added. The result is a sediment free, oil free cup of coffee. Drawback is 8 ounce cup limit. The My K-Cup can brew a 12 ounce cup but I'm not sure that is worth the tradeoff.

I purchased a reusable Keurig filter when I first got the Keurig. It worded perfectly but over time the plastic became brittle and needed replacing. The new version does the job but now has an inner basket and more than one part in the lid. It is difficult to reassemble. Sorry but I cannot recommend this.

    mesh too big

I have one of these and not happy with it. When using with purchased ground coffee, it lets a lot of silt pass through into the cup. So I bought some paper filters (with top flaps). That stopped most of the silt, but it would restrict the brew's flow enough that some would flow back out the top of this insert. Never could get this insert to work good-so I gave up on it.

The Keurig My K-Cup Universal Reusable Coffee Filter is compatible with all Keurig Home Coffee Makers. Please note, you may need to remove the 2.0 adapter on the bottom of the accessory and the K-Cup Holder in your brewer in order for it to fit properly. If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call at 866-901-2739. Hope this helps! KeurigCare
