It seemed my Keurig was getting noisier and noisier - especially between the time you push the button to brew and the coffee starts pouring. I was afraid it was dying. Someone suggested maybe the noise was the water having a hard time getting through the filter. I had never changed it. I'm so glad it was suggested! It is much quieter now - and I feel like my coffee water is clean again!

Filters are easy to replace. Had to replace sooner than expected though.

It's unfortunate Keurig doesn't build in a lifetime filter to avoid these residual costs, but if you have to buy them, this was an affordable product and fits right into the reservoir in my machine.

These last a little bit longer than advertised, but I stick to one a month just to be safe. I've had bad experiences with tap water and don't trust it in my Keurig without a filter.

I live in area of Southern California that has very hard and not very tasty drinking water; but every cup of coffee is now very delish and in my opinion its because of Keurigs replacement filters.

I've had my Keurig for two years now and still working great, I always get my filters at Best Buy and change them regularly to enjoy my coffee and to help my coffee maker last as much as possible.
