I never put another filter in. No change in the taste. I put the filter in and there wasn't any striking difference. There was a little different of a taste. So between the safe water and slightly bettered taste, totally worth the 8 bucks

Just follow the directions and put the new filter in your keurig. You won’t believe the difference in the taste of the coffee filtered with the new one. So with that said, I will be changing my filter at least every 2 months as recommended.
