the premise of the movie is good but the timing is off. If hit girl is 11/12 in the first movie how is she 15 when it's only two years later. Dave should not be in high school anymore either but I can forgive this timing error because the fight scenes were pretty awesome,

While this was watchable, it did not measure up to the original. Unfortunately, the plot dragged the movie down. This movie belonged to Chloe Grace Moretz, who salvaged the movie. It tried to retain the spirit of the original, but it only succeeded part of the time.
