If your looking for a worthy follow up to an original, this film is not it. It does have some humorous moments, but overall falls flat

My 9 year old son selected. Little did I know. Way too graffic...even for adults. Awful! Had to stop watching.

Cool superhero movie. A nice addition to my collection.

Many superhero comics say they depict "realistic" heroes, experiencing the trials/tragedies of real folks, but undermine such claims, with comic book gimmicks to escape inconvenient corners they're painted into. The non-powered hero world of Dave Lizewski and Mindy Macready, however, is not such a reality; whatever happens, for good or ill, happens. It includes harsh rifts with family/loved ones which aren't resolved before it's too late #the result of said people taking issue with the vigilante lifestyle#, ugly, permanent deaths #minus comic book resurrections#, one principal character #Mindy# deprived of a normal childhood, courtesy of her upbringing as a child soldier #making her assimilation into mainstream society a painful uphill battle#, unresolved loose ends from the last film's vigilantism #a vengeful Mafia son, his super villain name not a family-friendly one, a la Lex Luthor# and the public/police backlashes against wrongly tarnished superheroes #think Watchmen#. On the other hand, it is inspiring to hear testimony from new heroes who chose to follow in the footsteps of Dave and Mindy, as well as see heartwarming scenes of those liberated from evil, making it clear that their actions do have positive outcomes, too. As with the Harry Potter films, the film's leads, having begun as kids, are still growing and making painful decisions from which there's no turning back; this is a coming of age story for Dave and Mindy, the chemistry between the two having evolved, and promising to do more of the same in a third film, as this is meant to be a trilogy. Aside from a questionable moment of personal revenge #hey, this isn't The Incredibles#, and omitted bonus scenes which might've made for a more satisfying film, I can't recommend it more.

was it as good as the first? well, it's different. the first was the first, but this was different—with kind of an ensemble cast, still violent with bad language—a very good follow up to the first.

This is a fun action flick for adults (don't make the mistake of letting a kid/early teen watch). Not quite as good as the original movie, the plot is a little redundant too, but still worth a watch!

This was a pretty good movie. If you liked the first one, then you'll like this one. I think it gets a bit ridiculous at the end, but overall it's a good watch. The action is plentiful (but not as good as the first one), and most of the storyline you can see coming from a mile away. However, that doesn't mean it's bad. I had higher hopes for it, as the jokes and one-liners were terrible this time around, but it's worth watching in my opinion. Obviously this isn't a movie for kids, so don't get all upset if you buy it for your kids without knowing what you are buying.

Maybe im wrong, but i was waiting for something else, when i see the first KA, that was incredible good movies, but this movie can be better...is a good movies, but no like the first one...

This may be a sort of 'love it or hate it' film. I had liked the first film a fair amount when it came out, so I was happy to see the sequel. It's got a lot of the same characters, but the story is less fresh and fun this time around, and the humor seems more mean-spirited. But still, if you liked the first one, it may be worth your time to check this one out, just to see what's happened in the lives of the returning characters.

Despite Jim Carrey renouncing his decision to appear in such a violent film, I have to say it is some of his absolute best character work. I'm a huge fan and this is definitely high up on my list of his best films, even with him having a rather small role.

While this film takes a little while to get going and it lacks a certain sense of novelty that the original offered, it really works once it gets going and is an excellent study of the Hit-Girl character while offering plenty of laughs throughout. A worthy sequel.

I really like this Series. But Kick As.s to me isn't the movie it's all About Hit Girl for me. To me she made the movie what it is.

I love this movie. I bought the first movie of this series and i enjoyed both of them. I would recommend this movie to anyone.
