This is a great superhero movie for those that like action. Different from the Marvel movie releases, but a fun watch for those of you that get this 4K release. It will look great being played in your home theater. Be sure to get it if you want to take a chance on a fun title.

Picture and video quality very nice in a new sexy steel

If you enjoy all types of movies, then there is no reason not to love Kick-*ss. It has drama,comedy, action, great story. I may just be an action buff, but i'm calling it the best movie of the year right now. Hands down! There has been nothing else this year that has come close. This movie came out in April and I have been anticipating the release on dvd and blu ray. Probably a better deal to get the blu ray if you have a ps3, blu ray player, or are going to get one in the future when technology changes again. It's only five dollars more than the dvd and it's a combo pack with the blu ray, and dvd, and digital copy for your ipod. Alright, for people like me, who seen the trailer a while ago and thought about seeing it, but was iffy on it. Not knowing what type of movie it would be. If it were Action, Comedy, etc. Let me repeat myself when I say it is all of the above and surpassed any expectations I may have had for this film. I went into the theater thinking it would be just another comedy like role models, step brothers, etc. It was. Just a little bit more graphic. A little more to the point of reality. Of what WILL happen if you go up to people with a costume on. You'll get stabbed, and you'll be wowed by the intensity of it. Luckily for Kick-*ss, he has Hit Girl and Big Daddy to back him up so he doesn't get himself killed. But I love the message he sends. Finally, lets move onto the two who made the film awesome. Chloe Moretz...Hit Girl and Nicolas Cage...Big Daddy. The two were a riot! Nicolas Cage plays a father who deemed revenge for a crooked cop who set him up and got him in jail to begin with. The same crooked cop who is the father of Red Mist. We'll let you figure out where it goes from there. Chloe Moretz was trained before making the film and is awesome. Uses balisong/butterfly knives, cusses like a truck driver...well, close lol, and on top of that is 11 yrs old (maybe 13 in real life.) She's quite the show stopper and I can't wait for the sequel. But since I have to, i'll just watch this one over and over and over again.

A very good movie to collect, it has very good action and is very funny. I really recommend it.

Really great movie. The steelbook has one of my favorite steelbook designs ever. The slipcover and the art on the inside are definitely a plus.

What's not to like when an ordinary kid decides to be a super hero without the first clue....lol.

Kick butt! I didn’t think I was going to like this movie but I had a great time watching it. Now to get the sequel!

I liked this movie for the action when I first saw it but also appreciate the story telling upon repeat viewing. Nick Cage is amazing in this, really one of his better performances bring this time period. Better than it should have been and I think the acting really set this on a higher level than it would have been on paper.

Sooooo much action. Enjoyed it alot. Would definitely buy again.

A mix of dark comedy and unabashed violence, an edgy combo for a seat gripping superhero movie.

I have to start off by saying that I've never read the comic book from which 'Kick-A**' is based, but I imagine the film gets the tone of it right. That seems to be the most important thing about this film. It has huge elements of both action, comedy and drama. Neither of these are small elements of an otherwise dominate comedic, action or drama film. So, in order to mix all of these with a good balance and having to keep a consistent tone I'd also say it is the most impressive thing about this film. it does escalate from comedy to action comedy to action drama with bits of humor, but it knows what it wants and it goes for it with no regard as to who will be offended.

This is a great film from director Matthew Vaughn who is very talented at directing action/comedy films as shown by his work on Kingsman and X-Men: First Class. The story is unique and grounded yet very fun and entertaining, the characters are likeable, the action is fun, and overall it is a very good time. This is a unique film that made good use of its tone and style and should be commended for sticking to the R-rating as it came out before Deadpool. Anyways, the 4K transfer is great, the audio is good, and the steelbook is nicely designed. I also love that it came in a clear, plastic slipcover. More steelbooks should include these.

I had this movie on DVD and wasn't really looking to upgrade but this SteelBook design caught my eye and I couldn't pass it up. One of the better SteelBook covers with incredible artwork printed directly on the metal and the text/titles printed on a clear slip case. Looks really slick! The bonus was was getting a pristine and beautiful 4K UHD transfer that kicks the *** of my previous copy. Detail and colors jump right off the screen! Very recommended!

I never seen the movie and I’m not sure how I missed this coming out or on a premium channel. I just figured it was on sale, i will give it a shot and boy was I thrilled to now have it in my collection. I was pleasantly surprised, truly enjoyed the film. A great add to your collection if you don’t have it.

One of my biggest guilty pleasure movies finally gets a glorious steelbook release. I may be a little bias, but this has to be one of the most colorful, vibrant, eye-popping steels out there! Comes with a lovely plastic slip to protect the steel, and 4 collectible playing cards that really play into the everyday superhero theme of the movie. For lovers of action, comedy, and just the right amount of over-the-top violence, this is a must-have!
