I absolutely loved this movie in theaters, as I love it on 4K disc. I couldn't recommend this movie enough. The picture quality is close to reference quality at times, but does get soft with landscape shots. Excellent deep blacks, bright brights, and overall crisp picture. The Dolby Atmos soundtrack though, is a great pairing with the story. I love the score, the deep/low bass is excellent. Two thumbs up for this one.

I thought the film was well made. Sure common tropes but there are some interesting twists on the story that I thought were brilliant. Also, I think you’d have to like Guy Ritchie’s style of direction/storytelling in order to truly enjoy the film. If you don’t like that style then you probably won’t enjoy this film.

So the wife was thrilled to see this, I on the other hand was a little weary about yet another king Arthur movie. Went into watching with an open mind, it was better than I expected. Funny, good action, good acting. So if you are on the fence about this movie, take the leap and get it.

Doesn't compare to some of the classics which may not be a fair comparison.

This is version of King Arthur and Excalibur is a unique story. There is plenty of action with traditional Renaissance weapons. I think we all have seen many interpretations of this story. This one was pretty good. It's also in 4K Ultra HD with Dolby Atmos which means picture is crystal clear and the sounds are amazing.

A great presentation of a fun movie. Guy Richie's King Arthur is not the disaster people made it out to be. It's the wildest ride for this tale (Arthur fights a dragon!), and I would have loved to see the full trilogy get made.

A completely different view of King Arthur. The back story takes you to a whole knew story from the beginning of Arthur as a boy to whom he became over time. What you thought you knew about King Arthur is very different compared to prior stories on the big screen. Glad I viewed it this way rather than on the big screen.

New take on a classic tail. Arthur was a hero of mine since I first heard the tail as a child. So you could say I was predisposed to like it or hate it from the get go. I agree with Richie that the tale needs to be retold rightly to reach its full potential, but this ain't it. Still it was fun to see his vision.

Ritche got beat on pretty badly for this movie but its not fair, there is a great movie here the problem is the pace of the movie and missing parts of scenes or story line. If he was allowed 3 hours this movie would be clearing house at the next awards ceremony!! All the negative aside, its still a fun watch!!

I’ve never been a King Arthur fan all the older movies were boring and all repetitive. What Guy Richie did with this film was quite unique and creative with a great sense of humor. Watching Hunnam on SOA for 7yrs one would’ve thought he was American lol. Little did we know he was actually British. Luv all the accents and the fighting scenes with great familiar actors. Worth buying on DVD.

This movie was a good watch but not a great movie. I like a movie that dares to try to do some things differently. I think we should reward that effort even if the movie is not as good at something that's a little safer. There were some strong performances, some great action sequences and also some pretty substantial storytelling gaffes. The lead is a good-looking guy but not King Arthur and I think a poor casting choice. People who will enjoy this movie are the kind of folks that can watch a Ray Harryhausen Sinbad movie and enjoy it for what it is. Serious Arthurian Legend fans will probably be mad. To them I say lighten up and enjoy it. I would probably give this film three and a half stars if I could but unfortunately we have to choose whole stars. For those of you who are anticipating the reboot of Excalibur...this is not it.

I have seen quite a few movies about King Arthur but this film is totally different. I was surprised with a very different story line. Not a great movie but was still pleasantly entertained. The film also has some very good special effects. I enjoyed the movie and will watch it again.

I really enjoyed this movie! If you liked the Sherlock Holmes movies with Robert Downey Jr. then this is right up your alley! The character or Arthur is witty, clever, and smart. This does have some comedic moments and some sci-fi moments. If you are thinking this is a serious drama/action epic, you will be disappointed! This is definitely a different take on a classic story!

Watched this movie on the flight during the holiday and it was quite a lot of fun and shouldn’t be taken too seriously. It had a nice bunch of flare and a crisp take on an age old story. I don’t think it got the credit it deserves. If you liked the recent Sherlock Holmes movies then you’ll like this.

One of the best retellings of the legend. Excellent casting, plot, cinematography and special effects. Very original idea for an Arthur storyline. Loved it enough I have watched it at least 3 time. Exceptional soundtrack so much so I got a couple of the songs off iTunes.

This is yet another re-imaging of the King Arthur legend, and it deviates somewhat from the generally accepted standard version. One of the main differences is that Merlin is nowhere to be seen. Purists will not like this version, but if you want a good period piece with plenty of good guys and nasty villains, you'll enjoy this version immensely and all its swordplay.
