If you're a fan of the King Arthur Excalibur movie of the 80's and having expectations that this movie is along those lines you're going to be disappointed. While the basics of the King Arthur legend are here it's a spin on the original story. It's not a disappointing story and there is a lot of action.

Mainly got this for the misses, cause she was a huge SoA fan. Buy was pleasantly surprised, when I found out it was a Guy Richie film. Decent popcorn flick. Solid action. The music doesn't fit the time period, but does match the action.

If you liked the Sherlock Holmes movies with Robert Downey Junior you will enjoy King Arthur as well. It has an interesting story, with great new versions of some of the classic characters, and imaginative SFX that compliment the story instead of dominating it. An all around great movie worth watching.

It’s nice to see modern day King Aurthur. The film wasn’t too over the top CGI but it definitely had quite a few action scenes. The storyline as always was great. Can’t wait for the sequel. They did a great job leading into number 2.

Given the lukewarm reception at the box office, I had assumed this was another disappointment. Upon giving it chance however I discovered a pretty fun movie that sadly was stillborn and killed a franchise that could have been great.

This one was far more enjoyable than I was expecting. It's surprisingly funny, and it has some good action scenes. Unfortunately, you'll pretty much forget about it after it ends. Still worth seeing, though. I liked it a lot.

Always enjoy fantasy, mythical and magical movies. Never heard of Charlie Hunnam until I saw this movie. His portrayal of King Arthur was impressive. Fast paced and action packed with great cinematography and special effects.

A lot of people wrote off Guy Ritchie's latest release because of the dismal box office returns. But if you actually give this movie a chance, it's actually great fun. It's polished and engaging enough to keep you entertained.

Good movie but not my favorite telling of the King Arthur story. As is typical with a Guy Ritchie lots of fight sequences with 'narration' by the characters and lots of special effects. Basically a very modern interpretation.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword gives a fresh perspective of the legendary story of King Arthur and the Legend of the Sword. The movie was action packed, told a good story, and acting/directing is phenomenal.

I’m a big fan of this director and wasn’t disappointed with this movie either! Great product with wonderful visuals, audio, and awesome that they include not only blu-ray, but digital and regular copies with this set as well. All at an affordable price range too! Very happy!

I was surprised by this one. Much better story and better acted than I would have thought. A little much on the modern English usage, but other than that, I enjoyed it!!

Don’t listen to the critics here. This movie is very enjoyable. It doesn’t follow King Arthur lore so if that will bother you, then don’t watch it. But if you want a film to pass the time, this ones good for that.

Different style but well done. I love anything King Arthur so had to have this movie as well. I would recommend it to anyone who loves mythology, magic and King Arthur.

I really enjoyed this King Arthur movie, particularly the introduction of mythical beasts into the storytelling, which is something I don't recall having seen in other renditions of this classic tale.

I enjoy most of the films Guy Ritchie directs. He always has an interesting take and although I felt like he tried to match what he did with the Sherlock Holmes series too much, I still enjoyed this movie.

You have to let you mind be free to watch this because it is not your typical King Arthur story so do not walk into it with that mind set. You can see where the budget goes. Picked up for $4 on Black Friday

An excellent, action-packed, plot-twisty movie. Don't expect the standard Arthurian legend, but do expect great acting and a fresh, interesting take on how King Arthur became king of Camelot.

This was an excellent movie. I didn't buy just this movie I bought five different movies! I got such a good deal on five movies at Best Buy....I could hardly believe it. And fast shipping too! I Love My Best Buy program ....you can't get a better deal anywhere else.

This is one of those situations where I saw the film on tv, and then immediately bought it. The retelling is great. It has humor, sarcasm, touching moments, a lot of action. Overall, I felt it was a great retelling. Different take on the King Arthur story.
