Somewhat better in 4K!

Hdr is good but at times made me think my display was messed up with how bright the whites got. Blacks did the same thing. Check out this review that shares what I saw https://youtu.be/WRHd6ZEH1FE

what is the hype

To me it was an overall bad movie.
