my favorite old japan style special effect ..it won't be like the new one that is comming up with an updated f/x

I loved this movie as a child and seeing it again brought back memories but now I know why I never purchased it earlier.

Brings you back to the days when you were a kid..watching the afternoon movie on tv during the summers

Bad graphics, but this was an old movie that brought back some memories

It's a Godzilla movie. Enough said. I still need to find more movies for my collection.

This movies flat lines early and makes it a little difficult to reach the battle. for fans only!

This is a classic movie in the Godzilla series and was the first one shot in color - the detail is very good - but there is a lot of grain in the transfer - probably due to the poor quality source print. The DVD version is probably sufficient unless you are die-hard fan and want the Blu-ray also.

He loves any and all Godzilla movies he owns almost allowing of them

I am collecting all the King Kong movies so this was a must-purchase.

I really liked the movie and the contents that came with.

I grew up with Godzilla movies watching them with my dad, that is why I enjoy them.

I am a HUGE fan of both King Kong and Godzilla so what could go wrong with a movie featuring both? Everything! I knew I was in for a bumpy ride when I realized an entire crew of Asian actors were made up to look like an African trib. It did not get much better from there. I would recommend avoiding this movie and wait for the shared universe update coming out in a few years.

Doesn’t hold up as well as other Godzilla movies. Some fun(ny) moments.

I wanted a movie to share with the grand kids and didn't have 20 songs in it.

Ahh, such a wonderful film! At least for those of us that grew up on Godzilla, that is. This movie is pretty much a brawl between the biggest and baddest monster from the East, Godzilla, and furriest creature from the West, King Kong. The two come together to produce an all-star fightthe likes of which the world has never seen! It takes a few things to really enjoy this film to its fullest. a. You need to enjoy monster/kaiju films. b. Have an imagination and don't ask why something happened because you won't get an answer. c. Try not to pay attention to detail in scenes that are super-imposed. You'll notice a lot of flaws in the video. I'm extremely thankful for a Blu-ray release as this will finally allow me to get rid of the VHS version that I've had for the past 20 years! Blu-ray does make this film look a good bit more updated, but there's a limit to what you can do with something that was originally made 51 years ago! What was state of the art movie production at that point is anything but that now. The updated picture also exposes several errors and inconsistencies in the footage which caught my eye, but I got over it and just enjoyed the film. Now, just have to wait until next month when even more of the films are re-released on Blu-ray!

This Godzilla movie is one of the best movies ever. It's America vs Japan, east vs west! The cast of the movie is very funny and likable. It's one of my favorite Godzilla movies! It's very rewatchable.

Growing up with the classic Godzilla movies on Saturday matinees remains a wonderful memory. The recent releases of the early Godzilla movies on Bluray has been a revelation of the original Social commentary of the early Nuclear Age. Unfortunately at some point Godzilla became more and more camp to the point of self parody. Kong is great, Godzilla is great, but these guys should not have been put together.

Great movie for all family members and with the new blu ray transfer, it's more lifelike than ever
