Peter Jackson masterpiece . Best King Kong movie yet. Naomi Watts , Adrian Brody , Jack Black drives this great spectacle of action & beautiful special effects . Great beauty and flawless effects. A great loyal remake of the 1933 Fay Rey movie .

Characters to love and characters to hate. Exciting at times and a little slow at others. Very good story and cinema photography. Definitely my favorite version of the retelling of this story. The extended version is quite long, but I enjoyed it anyway.

I love this movie, the extended version is great as well. Movie looks amazing on 4K disc. Great picture quality and sound.

I really liked King Kong, Jack Black‘s character in it is pretty awesome. What a ConMan, but he gets away with it. The story is just like any other King Kong movie but it’s pretty exciting good characters pretty cool movie I think you’ll enjoy watching it.

This is a must have King Kong Movie for your collection! The colors on this 4K edition really come alive on my LG 4K 65 and 77 inch televisions!

I loved Peter Jackson’s King Kong. I wish it had been more popular because I really wanted to see the trilogy he had planned out. Too bad it never came to fruition.

I saw this back in 2006 on a laptop while on vacation. Wow!! This 4K version made it feel like I had never seen the movie before. But then, 12 years can have something to do with it seeming like the first time watching. GO 4K!!

Loved King Kong movies since I was a kid and this is one of the best versions in my opinion. Great combination of special effects and acting. This 4K version is a noticeable upgrade...gave my daughter my blu-ray version and she was happy.

I really enjoyed this movie. I am a Peter Jackson fan and the cgi and the visuals in this movie are outstanding. This movie gives you both the theatrical and extended versions of the said title. This is a fun, engrossing movie. Highly recommended!

King Kong is awesome and exciting movie to watch! I think this is one of best movies ever made! the actors are amazing! I love Naomi Watts , she is beautiful!!

Not great not terrible, worth watching if you like long movies

Loved this movie and hadn't seen it in years, so while walking through the Bluray aisle I saw this special edition for $6 and couldn't resist - some of the CGI is kinda outdated, but the overall film makes that a never mind

Peter Jackson is king of the blockbuster movies, would have been nice for him to have done 3 King Kong movies in a trilogy like his other ones. But great all the same. Best King Kong to date, but really looking forward to Kong Skull Island.

Really liked this version of the classic original when I first saw it on the big screen.. It holds up well as a re-watch with engaging plot and good special effects - plenty of action and Kong is truly King - with the best parts of the move being before he leaves the island. Worth having in your collection.

This is easily the best way to watch this film. The Blu Ray was impressive for its time, but the broad color palette available in 4K makes the film look better than ever.

Greet Movie for an animal lover. The movie is around 2.5 hours long so make sure you have a lot of time to watch it. It mainly depends on your tastes in movies. For me, I enjoy these adventurous types. The Blue ray disc is in perfect condition and the box had no cracks or scratches. Very pleased with the condition and price I paid for the movie.
