This is one of my all time favorite movies I love getting lost in this epic re imagining adventure from the vision of Peter Jackson. Great Steel Book.

You can check and one of hundred of websites for reviews of the film itself, but what makes this release special is the Steelbook packaging. High quality metal with new and exciting key art that matches a whole line of Steelbooks being released by Universal. Great piece to add to your collection.

This movie was good directed by Peter Jackson and had a lot of action into the movie but I think that the new King Kong was a little better than this one so I give both of them a tie

I have seen the movie at the theater and own the bluray version. But this 4k extended version is worth the price for its beautiful and detailed UHD video and heart pounding sound plus the extras.

I've been a fan of this movie and it was time for an upgrade! A well worth upgrade! The movie looks absolutely gorgeous on bluray. I highly recommend it! Also, for the price I paid, there is not a better store than Best Buy! THANKS!

I love special features, and this set has over 13 hours, on all kinds of subjects. If you're a fan of Peter Jackson movies and the kinds of in-depth special features he does, you will love this set.

Love the set with extended and theatrical versions and the digital is a plus. Fantastic special effects. It's an excellent version of all the "KONG" movies.

i just had to get this remake of the original that was made with fay wray.the special affects are top notch.i am a big fan of jack black who does a good job the movie is a little long but it moves along at a good pace.i love the scene of king kong on the ice playing.

Peter Jackson has done honor to a classic horror movie by having it in the original time period of the original. The updated special effects and slight changes to the story line are very effective.

Yes, the film does suffer from some poor CGI choices at times, and there are some melodramatic moments I would see shortened, but the movie is beyond entertaining and a joy to behold on a large screen.

Peter Jackson has a knack for epic movies. This particular version is 12 minutes longer than the theatrical release. If you like Skull Island, or don't, I feel like this is a better movie.

This protect works as advertised and was received with no damage. I would buy this product from best buy again if needed.

Already great cinematography, now in 4k the vistas abundance special effects are awesome. I would like to see it on imax 3d or Home 3d for that added depth of feel. Great remake of a classic.

Peter Jackson is hit and miss. Actually he is hit hit hit with the Lord of the rings trilogy and then miss, miss, miss, and miss. King Kong was the first miss, then the Hobbit Trilogy were all misses. He peaked years ago.

This product is amazing. In fact, I'm more than happy to double dip for the last 2 hours of this movie. I have the Blu-ray from many years ago. It is an exciting thrill ride, with amazing special effects. This is a must own 4K that should be a day one buy!

This film has never looked better. King Kong the Munsters he fights in the film look incredible in 4K I highly recommend this film. Long Live physical media

Picked this up for a great deal on 4k. Picture looks great. The details on Kong are pretty impressive. The locales are pretty awesome. Overall a good movie. Plenty of action.

Great purchase of a good old action movie. King Kong rocks in its 4k version and Steel Box. Nice purchase of a classic!
