Great purchase of a good old action movie. King Kong rocks in its 4k version and Steel Box. Nice purchase of a classic!

As with the other review for the Godzilla movies I am not a big King Kong, nor have I been a fan for a long time. I bought this for my grandson.

I'm giving this 5 stars for the intensity of the 4K HDR effects on my home TV. The movie was good - funny if you are a jack Black fan, but the star here is the 4K cinematography,

Great Steel Book addition glad they brought it back. Good addition to the 1976 version along with the new Godzilla vs Kong.

If you liked this movie the 4k HDR presentation...for the most part....is outstanding. It does show its age in some scenes where the CGI is terrible...like the Brontasaurus run. Iverall though it looks great and the Atmos soundtrack sounds amazing.

When you see this version of King Kong in 4K, you will realize that this is the best way to see the movie in it's entirety. I would definitely say that the action scenes, the computer graphics and animation are awesome in this version.

This is one of my favorite films. Probably Peter Jackson's best, after the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. The 4k transfer isn't necessary for this film. A regular Blu-Ray is fine.

In Blu-Ray, the movie is awesome with its pictures and sound. In my opinion, this is the best Kong ever made.It is one those movies that I want to own so I can rewatch it from time to time.

Everyone knows the story. The effects are very good in some parts and poor in others such as the Brontosaur stampede.. it looked faked and cartooney. Some of the acting and dialogue were corny. Could have been a lot better.

I am very happy with this purchase. I enjoyed watching King Kong battle scenes again and again. Watching it now it UHD take my enjoyment to the next level. I recommend this product.

When I was a kid. I loved king kong movies. They were very captivating to me. So naturally I couldn't wait to see this one. I wasn't disappointed. Amazing graphics and beautifully done.

I say on this one for 12 years and boy was I missing out....this movie is AMAZING! Not only that, but the special features on this release are seriously some of the best I have ever seen.

I purchased this disc after getting a 4k blue ray player to go with my 2015 4k TV. Outstanding picture detail, amazing what your eyes can see. 4k is definitely worth the wait!

Peter Jackson really brought this classic back to life. It's lengthy at 3 hours. But it flows so perfect that you don't really notice the time going by. Perfect watch on a day off work!

Great 4k visuals & excellent sound plus a bonus disk... not better than the new one but Kong is Kong no matter what...I highly recommend this one...

Great Movie, the original classic is one of my all time favorites. This one did not disappoint, unlike so many others. Great period piece, CGI was great, but didn't overwhelm the film.

What a fantastic version of a fantastic remake of a fantastic film. The sound & video transfer is amazing, almost perfect. Every color pops off the screen and King Kog roars to life.

I don't know if this movie is good, but my 15 year old self loves it so much. Thank you for making the 4K version!

This is an excellent 3 disc collection of previously released material in one compact set. Picture and sound are great on both the blu-ray and the DVD. The 3D slip cover is nice, too.

This is one of the best remakes I have ever seen! This is such a powerful movie and a beautiful portrayal of a classic love story and betrayal.
