Good movie, there were alot of action scenes and the cast did an amazing job. Kong looked very realistic and believable.

Great as usual. King Kong type movies are always great. Great visual. No disappointment to the franchise. Add jack black and wrap it up in a steelcase. What more do you want.

When they say ultimate collection, they mean ultimate collection. Besides the extended version of films, you get hours and hours of extras about the entire film process. Great remake!

Even though my wife and I recently saw the new Skull Island Movie, we still love this 2005 classic with Naomi Watts, Jack Black and Adrien Brody. And 187 minutes was a joy to watch!

This isn't my favorite Kong movie. I like the original 1933 film and Skull Island more, but appreciate what this movie brings to the table. I love that it has both cuts and a variety of featurettes.

was never too crazy about the original, but I think this is a really great remake of a classic. the effects are amazing, as well as the storyline and the acting. a must see.

this is a direct remake of the original kong move, with its own style. it is long close to 3 hours, but if anyone is wanting to kill time then have some food and water ready :D

The current Best edition you could hope for a King Kong Blu-ray release. Packed with all the bonus features you could want, and contains a great movie in a beautiful A/V transfer.

In many ways this version is more glorious than the currently playing Skull Island. Jack Black plays the same goofy character he plays in all movies. The script is basically the same as before with better cgi and magically better acting.

The movie is quite long so I watch the first half one evening and then couldn't wait till I got the chance to view the second part another evening. The graphics were great and what a wild ride. I would suggest others to watch this too.

This is the favorite version for my father. Great action and lovely Naomi Watts in this story of the great King Kong

Peter JAckson did a wonderful job of remaking this classic! I mean what should we expect from the man behind the Middle Earth movies?! The acting, story and effects are top notch!

This Blu Ray is loaded with features and was only $9.99 at time of purchase. You get the theatrical edition and then the directors cut which runs at 200 mins. Well worth it.

This lengthy movie has quite the long buildup before the star makes his appearance, but the stellar cast carries the film until Kong arrives. Jack Black owns every scene as usual. Love him or hate him, you just can’t look away.

I was ok with the movie when it came out in theaters, found a new respect for it on blu ray (safe for the ice skating scene). Blu Ray transfer is great! Love the metallic cover. Plus the extended edition adds some cool scenes.

Jack Black in one of his serious roles. Theres plenty of good stuff to say about this film, but I really enjoyed Jack Black so that's the highlight of my review. lol

I already had the DVD collection for King Kong. For $6.99 (with $1 discount for in store pickup), it was time for me to replace the collection with Blu-ray. Great choice!

This movie is a bit on the long side due to being made by peter jackson, but it's worth watching.

This is the Peter Jackson version, the movie is visual masterpiece. Perhaps a little too long, but worth a viewing.
