    Great movie. Check it out. Jack Black is surprisingly good. Awesome special effects.

    Glad I held out until this double-dip. The new (ish) version stays true to the tone and tempo of the original Peter Jackson version. Epic from the aughts that you ought to watch.

    Terrific remake of a timeless classic. Kind of drags for the first hr or so but makes up for it when the crew reaches skull island.

    How well the visuals held up over time for this movie. Maybe it was transferred digitally from film. Knowing Peter it prolly was. Now he needs to convert all the LoTR movies to 4K.
