    Visually stunning with some great ideas in place, the movie just drags on for too long after a certain point. Great action though with genuine emotion makes it a must-see though.

    This is one of those movies that just looks great on bluray on as big a screen as possible. The special effects are incredible. Lots of fun to watch with a big bowl of popcorn and the family.

    The movie is quite good, being directed by Peter Jackson of "The Lord of the Rings Trilogy". My issue is the casting of Jack Black in the lead. Very strange!

    I'm not really a fan of Jack Black and giant monster movies. I only saw it because I was really bored. I found it to be more enjoyable than I thought I would.
